Andreas Varotsos


Born in Athens in 1957,  studied Industrial Design in Rome at the Instituto Superiore per Industri Artistiche (I.S.I.A.) and gained a scholarship at ALFA ROMEO (ALFA SUD – Naples Decorative Arts). He worked with Studio IDEA in Rome and since 1984 has been designing furniture and decorative objects for Greek and Italian companies He has tutored at the National Polytechnic School of Athens and is also a professor at the Athens School of Applied Arts A.K.T.O. Andreas’ design creations have received international recognition through various prestigious Awards, and he is known in particular for designing the Olympic Torch used during the 2004 Athens Olympic Games, symbolising the harmonious shape and lines of Greece’s sacred olive tree leaves.

George Ververidis


Born in Thessaloniki in 1974, an artist and a designer was strongly influenced by the family-owned business which  wasin the field of manufacturing furniture. In 1992 he decides to follow his passion for design and moves to Florence, Italy, to study industrial product design and interior architecture at Academia Italiana Moda e Design.   Since then he has been traveling, studying and designing objects (mainly furniture) of high aesthetics and functionality, always combining his love for design with his professional occupation. Observing the everyday needs of modern times, in 2015 he decides to create Verfo Lab, a company that aims to present specialized items in the furniture area, covering everyday functional and aesthetic needs.

George Bosnas


George Bosnas was born and raised in Thessaloniki. After his studies in the Department of Design and Technology of Wood and Furniture, he continued with his master’s degree in industrial design at SPD Politecnica Di Milano. Returning to Greece and specifically to Thessaloniki, he shows his interest and trend in the design of lighting, furniture and more; Collaborates with local industries and producers and participates in 100% London in 2013. Constantly experimenting at every opportunity, he tries to find a design way out but also to achieve his personal goals.
